BIM Architect

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and 3D modeling software, with experience working on residential real estate development projects. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team at Ashlar Homes. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D architectural designs and renderings for residential properties using Higharc software.

This position involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, and interior designers to develop aesthetically appealing and technically accurate virtual representations. You will also customize and optimize Higharc software tools to meet project-specific requirements and improve design workflows.

In addition, you will translate design blueprints and technical specifications into Higharc models, accurately reflecting spatial relationships, materials, and finishes. You will partner with project managers and stakeholders to understand project goals, timelines, and objectives, ensuring alignment with company standards.

You will perform quality assurance checks on Higharc designs to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Furthermore, you will stay updated on industry trends and best practices in architectural design and virtual modeling to enhance project outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with CAD software and creating 3D architectural designs and renderings.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Exceptional visual and spatial awareness with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to address design-related challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
