We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technologist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. As a key member of our Central Service department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of asepsis, decontamination, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in maintaining department inventories and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering of equipment and materials.
Operate and maintain medical equipment, adhering to manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
Collaborate with the team to achieve Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement goals, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification preferred.
2+ years of experience in a Central Service or Sterile Processing environment.
Ability to work variable shifts, including floating locations as needed, and participate in call rotations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and department-specific software applications.
