We are seeking a Senior Hospitalist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital Springfield, a 60-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to lead our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
About Our HospitalSelect Specialty Hospital Springfield is a leading provider of long-term care for chronically critically ill patients. Our primary focus is to help patients breathe, speak, eat, walk, and think independently as possible. We specialize in weaning medically complex patients from mechanical ventilation and restoring independent breathing.
About Our TeamOur team is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Senior Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of critically ill patients, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and developing strategies to improve patient outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our hospital's policies and procedures.
Benefits and CompensationWe offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, CME opportunities, and a 401(k) plan with up to 4% match. You will also have access to our state-of-the-art facilities and resources, including our electronic medical record system and telehealth capabilities.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must be a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician with Advanced Graduate Medical Education and internal medicine training. You should have a passion for delivering high-quality, value-based care, a preference for real-time data-driven clinical decision-making, and a desire to be part of an organization committed to excellence and team-based collaboration.
