Histology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician to join our team at Woodland Heights Medical Center. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing and staining specimens of human body tissue for evaluation by pathologists.

• Prepare and stain specimens of human body tissue according to established policies and procedures.
• Perform special mountings and stains, and related service duties.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of chemical reagents, solutions, and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a histology program.
• One to three months of work experience in a histology laboratory setting.
