Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform clinical testing and document patient information in our electronic medical record system. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of eye care principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document clinical testing, including visual fields, ocular motility, and pupillary evaluation.
- Record patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
- Assist providers with patient care and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification.
- 2 years of relevant experience in ophthalmic care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
