Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform clinical testing and document patient information in our electronic medical record system. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of eye care principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document clinical testing, including visual fields, ocular motility, and pupillary evaluation.
  • Record patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
  • Assist providers with patient care and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in ophthalmic care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
