Building Condition Assessor

As a Building Condition Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting facility assessments and inventory collections for various clients. This role requires a strong understanding of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as utility infrastructure such as stormwater, wastewater, water, electrical, natural gas, compressed air, pavement, and other linear utility distribution type assets.
Requirements
A technical bachelor's degree is highly desired, and candidates should have previous experience working in public works and facility management for military, federal agencies, municipal, or public works departments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including technical report writing experience. Familiarity with industrial, large office, and other large facility types is also required. The successful candidate will also have a strong desire to learn more about the technology used to assess and collect inventory information of various systems and be comfortable entering data in portable electronic devices.
