POSITION OBJECTIVE:

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

  • Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product insights with customers; suggests merchandise options or assists in locating items based on customer preferences.
  • Stays informed about ongoing sales and promotions; upholds pricing and visual merchandising standards.
  • Adheres to merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Engages in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store layouts and area maintenance.
Customer Engagement
  • Exemplifies and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Promptly addresses customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitates a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about policies related to payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.
  • Encourages additional purchases at the register, including gift card sales.
  • Enrolls clients in the rewards program.
  • Cultivates and maintains a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
  • Understands current product fits and style assortments available in-store and online.
  • Maintains regular communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.
Operational Excellence
  • Assists in replenishment efforts to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.
  • Aids in fulfilling product locates.
  • Contributes to visual merchandising tasks, including floor displays, window updates, and signage placement as directed.
  • Supports the cleanliness and organization of the boutique.
Team Collaboration and Development
  • Encourages an inclusive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for personal growth and welcomes constructive feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication skills essential.
  • Excellent customer service abilities required.
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and Management.
  • Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate staffing to meet company goals. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Continuous walking/standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
