At Carlton Senior Living, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents, particularly those living with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including continence care, showering, grooming, transfer assistance, and meal assistance.
- Engage residents in daily recreational activities, such as crafts, games, music, and exercise, to promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Ensure residents remain clean, dignified, and presentable at all times.
- Provide emotional support and enrichment to residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Monitor residents' health and notify management of any changes in condition.
- Follow care plans and document provided care accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff to ensure seamless care and support.
- High school education or equivalent required; experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, family members, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure resident care and support.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide sufficient work authorization documentation.
