Pemberton District High School is seeking a dynamic and reflective leader to join our collaborative team as Deputy Principal. This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2024.
About the RoleThe Deputy Principal will provide educational leadership in the school and community by developing and promoting the school's vision and values. They will work collaboratively with the Principal, Executive, Leadership, and Phase of Learning teams to achieve planned outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school business plan through consultative decision making.
- Implement strategic priorities, develop and review policy and processes, establish and maintain operational systems, and contribute to the Student Services team through case management that promotes student engagement, positive behaviour support, and restorative practice.
- Display a strong knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy, as well as an ability to understand and use a range of student performance data effectively to enhance learning outcomes for all students.
- Foster ongoing staff professional growth in high-impact teaching strategies.
