Job Description
As a Registered Dietitian with HCSG, you will play a critical role in managing nutritional services at a long-term care facility. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing the nutritional needs of residents, developing individualized meal plans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and providing nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, and be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. You should also hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice and have knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
