Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our tank trailers to transport raw milk from farm to processing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA Commercial Motor Vehicle, and safety policies.
  • Transport raw milk from farm to processing plants, following a dispatch schedule and directions from driver supervisors.
  • Take quality control samples at farms, measure the milk loaded into trailers, and minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption.
  • Perform strenuous work involving lifting, connecting hoses, disconnecting hoses, and ladder climbing to access the top of tank trailers and farm tanks.
  • Maintain positive communications with producers, customers, and employees, representing DFA positively and professionally.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • Experience in commercial driving, preferably in the dairy industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous work.
