Job Summary

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various imaging and radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and perform imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders.
  • Prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
  • Administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
  • Respond and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
  • Implement techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
  • Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position.
  • State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider; BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
