Position: Creative Arts Therapist

The Creative Arts Therapist will deliver holistic therapeutic services tailored to pediatric patients and their families at Penn State Children's Hospital, as well as adult patients and families at the Penn State Cancer Institute.

This role aims to address the emotional, physical, cognitive, social, and cultural needs of patients and their families through art therapy, employing both theoretical frameworks and evidence-based methodologies.

Key Qualifications:
• A Master's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the American Art Therapy Association (AATA).
• Must possess an ATR-P (Provisional Registered Art Therapist) credential from the Art Therapy Credentials Board, along with a supervision plan to fulfill the requirements for obtaining an ATR (Registered Art Therapist) credential and subsequently sit for the board examination.
• Previous experience in art therapy within a healthcare environment is advantageous, with preference given to candidates who are Registered and Board Certified Art Therapists (ATR-BC).
