Job Title: Multi-State Licensed Pharmacist

Position Overview:

We are looking for a licensed pharmacist who holds active licensure in multiple states, with Texas as the primary location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch patient care.


Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring compliance with physician orders and patient safety.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy outcomes.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including inventory management, compounding, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist licensure in Texas.
  • Multi-state licensure, with licenses in additional states preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and computer systems.
