Surgical Procurement Specialist

As a Surgical Procurement Specialist at SCA Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of medical supplies and equipment to support patient care. About the Role:

  • Procure and maintain inventory levels to meet facility needs, while minimizing costs and maximizing value.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze data to inform purchasing decisions and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track inventory levels, expenses, and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
