Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated DVM to join our team as an Associate Veterinarian. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with our experienced veterinarians and support staff, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries
  • Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation
  • Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed
  • Stay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practices
Requirements
  • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of California
  • 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time-management and delegation abilities
  • Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
  • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
