At Concentra, we are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist Limited Scope to join our team. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort during the exam.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
- Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
- Follow all Radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
- Perform routine medical procedures as ordered by the treating clinician, including DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license, if applicable.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems using logic and critical thinking.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
