Job Summary

The Lead Communications Technician will oversee the installation and maintenance of voice and data systems, ensuring high-quality results and efficient project completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and effective communication with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and supervise installation projects, ensuring adherence to company and customer quality and safety standards.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  3. Lead and train a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and communicate project status and progress.
  5. Perform quality checks and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and technical skills, with a strong understanding of voice and data systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents, and to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Working Conditions

The Lead Communications Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent travel to project sites and customer locations. The role requires strong physical and mental stamina, with the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.
