These evaluations will include assessing condition and quality control, structural design and analysis, as well as preparing detailed technical reports and overseeing rehabilitation and repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee marine engineering and diving projects.
  • Develop design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for review and approval.
  • Create preliminary concept designs and submit them for approval.
  • Experience in structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition inspections is advantageous.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial diving practices and ADCI standards for surface-supplied air diving.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Design.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwater inspections, commercial diving operations, and marine engineering projects.
  • PE license in Florida or other states is preferred.
  • National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification is a plus.
Essential Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, send Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for communication.
  • Able to stand for a minimum of 3 hours daily, up to 8 hours.
  • Capable of navigating construction sites with uneven terrain and varying material consistency.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses while on site.
  • Able to lift and move equipment or inspection materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
