Job Title: Direct Support Professional II

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional II to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional II, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily living tasks, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviors, such as aggression, self-injury, and property destruction.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence, socialization, and community integration.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
