**About the Position**

Avera Sacred Heart - Pavilion is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients participate in the activities they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' homes and other environments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and train patients on the use of adaptive equipment to facilitate participation in daily activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to help patients modify tasks and activities to enhance their participation.
  • Provide guidance and education to family members and caregivers on how to support patients in their daily lives.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Current certification of National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

**Work Environment**

The Occupational Therapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
