Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Routing Supervisor to join our team in the New England Region. This role will provide a great opportunity for growth and development within our organization. The successful candidate will report to the Transportation Manager and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the regional transportation network, including routing, delivery window efficiency, territory planning, assignment of drivers and vehicles, and equipment usage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routing strategies to optimize route efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze and optimize vehicle and driver assignments to improve delivery times and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Team to match available vehicles with delivery requirements and customer needs.
  • Communicate with the Night Warehouse Management Team to prioritize order selection and optimize loading procedures.
  • Perform daily maintenance of the Road Net system and incorporate real-time recommendations from drivers and sales teams to optimize routing performance.
Requirements
  • High School degree or GED required; College degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of transportation routing experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Road Net Transportation Suite preferred.
  • Basic understanding of transportation safety guidelines and DOT procedures related to transportation routing.
  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites.
