Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our medical surgical unit, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of orthopedic patients pre- and post-operatively.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
