Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
  • Ability to speak and write in additional languages, including Spanish (dependent on market).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic experience.
  • Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic (if less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider).
