Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in general and critical care settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in respiratory care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

An Associate's Degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program is required. Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience is preferred. A Respiratory Care Practitioner License from the State of California is required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required. Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification and maintaining a current age-specific Advanced Life Support Provider certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through an American Heart Association (AHA) provider training program are required. Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) is preferred.
