Design Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Design Drafter to join our team at Yoe Construction, Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for providing a full range of AutoCAD drafting services to support steel fabrication and installation projects.

• Provide accurate and timely drafting services to support project requirements
• Utilize AutoCAD to create 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical design, layout, shop detail, and field assembly
• Generate clear and accurate submittal drawings for customer review and approval
• Coordinate with detail drafters and/or detailing subcontractors to ensure designs are being followed and represented accurately
• Support the estimating department by assisting in bid document review and material take-offs
• Participate in project start-up meetings to review field assembly drawings and documents with project stakeholders

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eight (8) years mechanical drafting experience or four (4) year degree in engineering or drafting, with four (4) years relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D
• Experience with AutoCAD 3D Modeling preferred
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu preferred
