We're a small yet tight-knit team that thrives on shipping high-value features quickly. As a Senior Software Architect, you'll be welcomed into our close-knit family that values fun and camaraderie. Previous team members have contributed to esteemed companies like Facebook and Microsoft. With a remote work setup currently in place, we plan to establish an office in the Bay Area contingent upon COVID-19 risks being reassessed.

We leverage cutting-edge technologies like React Native for our mobile client, React for the web client, and Redux-Saga with functional components heavily utilizing React Hooks. Our application server is built using PHP Laravel, while all infrastructure resides on AWS, with an ongoing migration to GovCloud for FedRAMP compliance.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with major national sports teams, government contracts, and growing enterprise clients.
  • Design interfaces and APIs that are accessible and intuitive.
  • Lead system design and architecture for the relevant domain (infrastructure, frontend, or backend).
  • Drive product features from concept to prototype, implementation, release, and tracking.
  • Utilize analytics and customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Own features across multiple implementations including Web, iOS, and Android.
  • Gain experience in effective pedagogy, leveraging data to optimize learning outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in languages/frameworks of the domain: PHP/Laravel, React, or React Native.
  • Experience with frontend/backend testing frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A sharp eye for intuitive design.
  • Openness to working across the stack when needed.
  • Ability to empathize with a wide range of non-technical users.

Compensation Package

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the position.
