About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Drill Mechanic to join our team at Rogers Group, a leading aggregates and asphalt highway construction company. As a Mobile Drill Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of equipment, including Epiroc D 60, T 50, and T45 Track drills and Atlas Copco T4 Truck Drills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy or major maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Perform routine scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Complete maintenance and work order repair records accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed, to repair or maintain equipment.
  • Parts familiarization, including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of equipment parts.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment, including company vehicles on public highways and job sites.
  • Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.
  • Weekend work/overtime may be required.
  • Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist, and lift 70 lbs.
  • Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet.
  • Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
  • Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors.
