Machine Operator Job Description

Workbox Staffing is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Huger, SC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery according to customer specifications and work orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and reconcile machine setups to ensure compliance with production instructions
  • Review and record gauge, width, hardness, camber, burr, and surface condition to ensure compliance with production instructions
  • Operate machines at maximum speed, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of current crane and forklift operation preferred
  • Ability to perform complete setup and operational tasks of the machine to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to accurately use tape measures, Rockwell tester, digital calipers, digital/dial indicators, height gauge, computer, part specific gauges, and micrometers
