Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the Tampa YMCA. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and leadership to participants in our Recreational Gymnastics Classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various age groups and skill levels.
  • Provide expert instruction and guidance on gymnastics techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment that promotes physical activity and social interaction.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new programs and services.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in gymnastics instruction and group management.
  • Must be at least 15 years of age; 16 years of age preferred.
  • Working knowledge of equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Ability to teach proper techniques and safety procedures.
  • Mature judgment, effective communication, and sound decision-making skills.
Certifications/Trainings

Must obtain within 30 days of employment and maintain current certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and other relevant certifications.
