Certification Requirements
  • Essential Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, HIPAA, and State License 1 Verification must be available.
Position Overview
  • Accepted Credentials: CRT or RRT candidates are welcome.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
  • Mandatory Certifications: NBRC and BLS must be held at the time of submission.
  • Licensing: An Ohio RRT license is required to be in hand.

Job Requirements
  • ID Requirement: A valid government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment.
  • Current Credentials: CRT and RRT candidates must possess a current NBRC certification.
  • Training: Online training modules will be provided by the facility and must be completed prior to the start date.
  • Physical Examination: A pre-employment physical must be completed within a year of the start date.
  • Fit Mask: A fit mask test is required within 12 months of the start date.
  • Health Requirements: A negative 2-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold TB test/T-Spot is required within 6 months of the start date.
  • Immunizations: Proof of titer or 2 vaccinations for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella is necessary.
Schedule Information
  • Communication: All requests for time off and scheduling must be communicated during the submission and interview process.
Unit Specific Information
  • Competency Exam: A unit-specific competency exam is required within 12 months of the start date.
  • Skills Checklist: A unit-specific skills checklist must be completed.
Additional Information
  • Training Duration: Modules typically require 4-5 hours to complete and must be finished to receive clearance for orientation.
  • Badge Collection: Candidates must pick up their badge from the facility prior to starting.
  • Completion Requirement: All training modules must be completed by the candidate.
