Job Overview

Join our passionate team and become a Pizza Artisan.

As a member of our culinary team, you will receive hands-on training at each food preparation and cooking station at Zalat, while progressively taking on more responsibilities and increasing your earnings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellence in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each pizza meets our high standards. On peak days, our operations can produce up to 1,200 pizzas.
  • Work diligently in the kitchen, navigating around hot ovens and collaborating with fellow team members.
  • Be prepared for late-night shifts, as we operate during extended hours, including weekends and holidays (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).
  • Report directly to the shift leads and management team.

Job Requirements

No experience is necessary.

At Zalat, we provide comprehensive on-the-job training, allowing you to master each cooking and preparation station while enhancing your skills and compensation.


Essential Duties:

  • Preparing ingredients, cooking, cleaning, and managing the expediting process.
  • Engaging in continuous training and professional development.
  • Arriving on time, showing respect, and bringing your unique personality to the team.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly throughout the shift; standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Crafting the finest pizzas in the industry.
A food handler's certification is required. If you do not currently possess one, we will cover the costs for your study materials and exam.
