Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography scans using prescribed techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography scans using prescribed techniques and protocols.
  • Review requisitions to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Adjust equipment and select appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure.
  • Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Select appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure.
  • Ensure proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain optimal quality images.
  • Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process.
  • Complete examination in a timely manner and document administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner.
  • Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Required certifications: BLS, AART, AART advanced cert.
  • Must have MD LIC.
  • Experience with GE and Siemens scanner equipment.
  • Preferred experience in: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction.
