Job Summary:

The Chemical Plant Industrial Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with safe work practices and policies, and performing quality control verification. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial equipment and processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain industrial equipment, including vacuum trucks, mobile packaging units, trailer transfer units, and roll-off trucks.
  • Ensure equipment is in compliance with safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform quality control verification by inspecting containers for damage.
  • Load and unload materials in containers, as needed.
  • Work with sumps, drains, trenches, reactors, and silos, in potential confined spaces, as needed.
  • Fill out paperwork and communicate effectively with customer representatives.
  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in industrial equipment operation and maintenance preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and/or TWIC card, depending on work location.
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
