Economic Development Analyst for Africa

The Brookings Institution is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to support the Africa Growth Initiative (AGI) with research covering a full range of public policy issues related to Africa.
As a key member of the AGI team, you will conduct research on economic growth-related issues, including carrying out bibliographical searches, summarizing research papers, and contributing content and analysis.
You will work closely with scholars and staff within Brookings to develop research and presentation materials for relevant conferences, seminars, and meetings.
You will also assist assigned scholars with outreach activities, such as responding to requests from media, external stakeholders, and regional partners for data analysis and research implications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on economic growth-related issues.
- Carry out bibliographical searches, summarize research papers, and contribute content and analysis.
- Develop research and presentation materials for relevant conferences, seminars, and meetings.
- Assist assigned scholars with outreach activities.
