We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Critical Care Acute Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced neuro critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Master's degree in a Nurse Practitioner program and national board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State and current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
- Collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with NYS Department of Education or collaborative relationship attestation as per the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act 2015.
- Current BLS certification.
