We are seeking a Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Jason's Deli As a Restaurant Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, handling customer payments, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling customer payments and operating a cash register
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Count and balance cash drawers, handle credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and efficient operations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; currently enrolled in high school or G.E.D. program preferred
  • At least six months of work experience; unless attending high school, college, or technical/vocational school
  • Ability to learn the Aloha register system and basic job routines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
