Position Overview:
A full-time Landscape Maintenance Specialist is required for a stunning private estate. This estate spans 250 acres and is located in a picturesque area. We are looking for reliable, motivated, and hands-on individuals to fill this essential role within our dedicated team.
Work Schedule:
The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential flexibility during warmer months.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Regular lawn care and maintenance
- Pathway upkeep
- Operating machinery such as zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, and small tractors with attachments
- Snow removal tasks, including shoveling and plowing
- Moving rocks, logs, and other vegetation as necessary
- Climbing ladders to clean building gutters
- Removing trees up to 12-15 inches in diameter, including fallen limbs
Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants should possess the following skills and abilities:
- Safe operation and use of equipment
- Ability to lift and shift up to 70 lbs. comfortably
- Capability to bend, kneel, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
Requirements:
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to perform strenuous and physically demanding tasks
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Possession of a current and valid driver's license and ability to pass a background screening
