Global Credit Union seeks a talented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing secure network architectures, virtualization technologies, identity and access management principles, application security, encryption technologies, DNS, SOA, and web applications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, with experience in implementing and managing enterprise security solutions. You will be responsible for providing security engineering support via network security implementation, analysis, testing, and monitoring. This includes implementing, testing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security solutions for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing, testing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security solutions for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Assisting in the development of best practices policies, programs, procedures, and security standards for the organization.
  • Serving as an escalation point for Information Security Analysts.
  • An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a Business Unit level.
  • Analyzing and correlating security events and implementing countermeasures to mitigate against intrusion attacks.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, you may have creditable experience in lieu of education, with two to four years' experience equivalent in technical training, certifications, and/or work experience.

You should also have one of the following industry security certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information System Security Professional, Certified Ethical Hacker, any Level 5 GIAC Certification, Offensive Security Certified Professional, or other advanced-level certification.

Detailed knowledge of how offensive security attack vectors work, including Phishing, privilege escalation, buffer overflow, and lateral movement, is required. Two to Four years' demonstrable experience managing and implementing enterprise security solutions is also necessary.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $63,233 - $101,804 (Category 09), depending on your qualifications and experience.
