Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel in preparing the Cath Lab room for cases, recognizing cardiac pressure forms recorded, and performing cardiac thermodynamic calculations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in clearing and preparing the Cath Lab room for cases
  • Recognize cardiac pressure forms recorded and cardiac thermodynamics parameters
  • Perform cardiac thermodynamic calculations and report any abnormal values to the physician
  • Review and update procedures logs immediately after each procedure
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT), Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) certification
