Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) operates under the guidance of the Director of Special Education and a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role involves executing tailored speech and language educational programs for students experiencing challenges in communication, including aspects such as auditory processing, vocalization, social communication, expressive and receptive language skills, and fluency. The SLPA is responsible for conducting screenings without providing interpretations and works collaboratively with educators and guardians to develop strategies that facilitate student engagement and advancement within the general education framework. This position aligns with and promotes the mission and vision of The Classical Academies.
