Job Title: Security Officer EMT

We are seeking a highly trained Security Officer EMT to join our team at Wegmans. As a Security Officer EMT, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide medical care as needed
  • Manage access control and verify the identity of vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Protect company property and assets while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer service
  • Proactively patrol the buildings and grounds of the complex and perform preliminary investigations involving safety and security events
Requirements:
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Technical aptitude with advanced computer skills
  • Experience utilizing good judgment to effectively communicate and manage conflict in stressful situations
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Certified EMT
  • Certified in CPR, AED, and FAC
  • Military, Security, Loss Prevention or Asset Protection experience
