About the Role

The Culinary Director is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at our location. This includes developing and implementing innovative culinary solutions to meet the diverse needs and tastes of our customers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and lead a team of kitchen personnel to ensure exceptional food preparation and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities, including menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management.
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to meet demand.
  • Develop and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and demonstrations as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary position.
  • Post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of food preparation and presentation principles and practices.
  • Experience in managing people and/or problems.
  • Excellent verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
