Weis Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the pharmacy department, including supervising pharmacists and pharmacy associates, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff.
- Manage inventory and ordering of pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Develop and implement clinical programs, including immunization and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), to grow script growth and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling.
- Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise.
- Bachelor's degree (BS) or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) in Pharmacy.
- Two (2) years of retail pharmacy experience.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e., APhA).
