Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full range of maintenance on assigned products, including technical diagnostics, software updates, installation, removal, retrofit, and client call assistance.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary.
  • Manage call activity and perform call close administrative requirements.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction through proper use of customer management skills and engage the support of other Modern Office Methods personnel as required.
  • Adhere to proper escalation procedures to resolve client issues.
  • Provide client training on assigned products in accordance with current field procedures.
  • Responsible for assigned company assets, including parts, tools, communication and computing devices, and vehicles.
  • Responsible for supportive participation in team functions and adherence to agreed-upon practices and procedures developed by the team.
  • Drive a motor vehicle.
  • Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of experience.
  • Manage territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate good technical and customer relation skills.
  • Perform basic connected installations, set up IP addresses, download printer drivers, and provide client training on network devices.
  • Demonstrate required digital competencies associated with assigned products and level assignment.
  • Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned.
  • Work closely with sales team to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage own parts inventory with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Comply with all company policies.
  • Interact with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high level of customer satisfaction with the service performed.
  • Maintain productive, Technician relationship with all company personnel.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and be a contributing team member.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field or related military experience.
  • Previous experience in technical field service.
  • Networking knowledge.
  • COMPTIA A+ Net+ certifications.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
  • Maintain and acquire further training and certification as required.
