Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist to join our team for a 14-week assignment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to work in our acute care setting. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of mobility impairments, helping them regain independence and achieve success.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with mobility impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct transfers, ambulations, and exercises
  • Provide gait training, stair climbing, and balance training
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist License (PT) - Virginia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous acute care experience
  • EPIC experience
