Job Title: Registered Nurse/NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a NICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and experience working in a fast-paced NICU environment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, medication administration, and procedural interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a pediatric critical care setting, preferably in a NICU environment.
  • Strong background in pediatric critical care, including knowledge of neonatal physiology and pathophysiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Work Environment:

The NICU is a 24/7 unit with a high volume of critically ill patients. The successful candidate will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
