Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at our Bellevue office. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide occupational therapy services to children with neurodevelopmental disorders, educate parents and guardians on each child's therapy program, and contribute to the development of each child's total program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children aged 3-11 with neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Assess each child's functional motor skills, abilities, and challenges, and design and implement treatment plans
  • Educate family/caregivers in therapeutic interventions and design adaptive equipment
  • Make referrals to community or Kindering programs, support groups, and other services
  • Assist in supervision of student therapists and participate in the development of each child's total program
  • Evaluate home, daycare, or school situations through site visits and educate family/caregivers in therapeutic interventions
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy; master's degree preferred
  • Valid Washington State professional license
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Training in neurodevelopmental treatment techniques preferred
  • Experience working with young children with neuromuscular and developmental disorders
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to demonstrate dependability and punctuality
