Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in store opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and setting up displays.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, manage shrinkage, and maintain a safe and secure store environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency utilizing general office equipment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced, with moderate noise levels and varying temperatures.

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role is between $19.66 to $21.09 per hour, depending on experience and location. This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
