Senior Network Architect

Job Summary:

Region 7 Consortium seeks a highly skilled Network Performance and Security Expert to design and administer its Wide Area Network and Local Area Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network performance and security, with experience in managing complex network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and administer Region 7's Wide Area Network and Local Area Network, focusing on network performance in conjunction with security.
• Work closely with Regional ISO and Network Security Specialist to improve Region 7's security posture.
• Manage and oversee security policies and configuration for complex network infrastructures.
• Design and maintain networks that are fault-tolerant and redundant for maximum uptime for staff and WAN customers.
• Provide leadership to team members for complex changes.
• Provide customers with designs, assistance, and recommendations for LEA's improvements to their LAN.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree; Prefer 15 years of related experience. Require or more current certifications such as Network+, PenTest+ Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CNSP, CNVP, CSAP, CCNA, CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIS, ACSA, CMA, CWNA, PCNSA.
